How many clothing items do I need to supply?

Keepsake Animals:

• Please provide at least 8 baby items are required for animals, however if all are under 000 please include a few extras as they’re so tiny! Anything that is not needed will be returned to you.

• Each animal has some tips to help when choosing your items found in the ‘additional info’ on the product page.

Keepsake Blankets:

• Large Snuggle Blanket - Minimum 66 baby items or 25 adult items

  Made from 88 squares of BABY ITEMS - squares are 17.5cm × 17.5cm in size

  OR 40 squares of ADULT ITEMS - squares are 24cm x 24cm in size

• Baby Blanket - Minimum 30 baby items only

  Minimum items required = 66 baby items or 25 adult items

DON’T HAVE ENOUGH ITEMS? Blankets, sleep sacks and wraps can be used too!

What types of clothing can be used?

Onesies, shirts, shorts skirts, dresses, leggings, overalls, jumpers, knitted cardigans, jackets, denim, rompers, beanies, socks and accessories.

Blankets, wraps and sleep sacks can also be used.

How big are the animals?

All animal keepsakes sit between 30-40cm tall! Any smaller and most wouldn't fit special prints from clothes.

How much does return shipping cost?

Return shipping costs $29.95.

Your keepsake will be shipped via Australia Post with a signature on delivery.

If, under the unfortunate circumstance, that your keepsake becomes lost in transit, we will do everything we can to try and track it down with Australia Post. In the event that it cannot be located, you will be refunded your order price in full. Postage of your special items is at your own risk.

Can my child play with their keepsake animal?

Our Keepsake Animals are for DISPLAY RATHER THAN PLAY.

Due to them being made from worn clothing and fabrics, and being finished off by hand stitching, regular play will cause animals to stretch out of shape (just like your favourite shirt when you wear it all the time!) and can be damaged.

Also being a unique handmade item, they cannot undergo the rigorous safety testing that children’s toys do.

Can we drop off/pickup items instead of post?

Yes, for the time being local drop off/pickup will be available to residents of the Sunshine Coast.

Can my keepsake be washed?

Due to being made from used clothing and finished off with hand-stitching, animals CANNOT be machine-washed. Spot clean only, at your own risk.

Blankets CAN be machine-washed on a cold-warm, gentle cycle.

What is the turnaround time for a keepsake?

Turnaround times will vary at different times of the year, however we work on a window of 2-4 weeks from the receival of your clothing items. When they arrive, you will be notified by email and given a more specific timeframe depending on our current queue.

Can I have my scraps back?

Yes of course! We send back all unused items along with any decent sized offcuts leftover from your keepsake creation.
